CX Aortic Vienna 2023 – Educational Grants

Since January 2018, MedTech Europe, convened by industry itself, agreed prohibition of companies from directly sponsoring physicians to attend third-party organised educational events like CX Aortic Vienna. 

Unrestricted educational grants are welcomed by CX Aortic Vienna to help towards covering the costs of registration, travel and hotel accommodation for participants wishing to attend CX Aortic Vienna.

Unrestricted educational grants may be provided to conference sponsors to help off-set costs for participants. BIBA Medical is the official Conference Sponsor for CX Aortic Vienna and is an Ethical MedTech Trusted Partner, the certification initiative launched by Ethical MedTech (MedTech Europe’s compliance portal), emphasising our commitment to comply with the industry’s ethical standards.

Educational grants must be publicly disclosed, ensuring increased transparency of funds allocated to medical education.

What will the grants cover?

  • Full CX Aortic Vienna registration enabling access to education in the main auditorium and workshops from 08:00 – 18:00 Monday 2 October – Wednesday 4 October.
  • Up to 3 nights hotel stay* (single occupancy, including breakfast)
  • A travel grant (economy flight/train/shuttle)

*Number of nights hotel stay is dependent on grant provider. Hotel is pre-determined (Andam Vienna Am Belvedere).
